Elizabeth’s professionalism, innovative ideas and high quality work make her a pleasure to work with on any project that she undertakes. Even as a student composer, she was pushing musical boundaries and composing at a level beyond many of her peers. I once worked with her on a piece for flute and pre-recorded nature sounds entitled ‘Seasons’, which she had spent hours upon hours recording in the field. The final product was like nothing I had ever played before. What sets her apart is her willingness to adapt, to take risks and her eagerness to please. Working with Elizabeth is a true collaboration-everyone involved learns something from one another and the result is always magical.
