About Elizabeth

Recently, Elizabeth scored season one of Detention Adventure with Erica Procunier and Antonio Naranjo. Detention Adventure is the first original kids scripted series for CBC Gem. The score for the series won ‘Best Music’ at T.O. Webfest in 2019.

She also recently worked as the Music Assistant to Erica Procunier on Apple TV+’s Emmy winning series Ghostwriter.

Elizabeth was commissioned for the second time to compose a movement for the Art Song Collaborative Project’s annual modern opera ‘Cries of the Earth’ which premiered in Toronto in July 2019. She also composed a movement for the 2018 opera program.

Elizabeth worked as an assistant composer under Erica Procunier on Season 2 of CBC’s Little Dog and she also wrote some additional music for the series. Previously, she completed an internship under Ari Posner through the SCGC’s Apprentice Mentor Program.

Other than composing, Elizabeth teaches “Fundamentals of Music Arranging for Producers” at Centennial College (Recording Arts Program in the Media and Design Department). She is also the Membership Coordinator for the Screen Composers Guild of Canada.

She has a Music Theory and Composition undergraduate degree from Western University, Audio Post Production Graduate Certificate from Fanshawe College, and education in Interactive Scoring for Games from Berklee.
